pairings did not change

If you are setting up tournaments and specify AB or ABCD to organize the round, nothing will actually happen until you click "create schedule" on the tournament page or go to the create pairings tab (pairings / create pairings from the nav bar). Sometimes, captains forget to do this and wonder why the pairings do not reflect their "organize by" criteria.

Also, the scheduler will never change pairings for rounds that have already been scored (that would not make much sense :) ). The round is considered to be "scored" if you set the scorecard to "all 4's" so that you could view samples leader board results. If this is the case, and you want to re-pair these rounds, you must first access the scorecard and then click "clear" to clear the scores. The scheduler will then re-pair the round.

Please note that even if the scheduler does not re-pair a round, and leaves it as is, it will know the pairing for the round and will factor that into determining the best possible pairings for the rounds to be scheduled.
